Privacy Policy
Last updated: 1 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how EngageNexus Pte. Ltd. ("EngageNexus", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, discloses and protects personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 of Singapore (the "PDPA"). It applies to personal data we handle through this website, our enquiry forms, and the course of providing our marketing services. By using this website or contacting us, you acknowledge the practices described here.
1. Who we are (organisation identity)
EngageNexus Pte. Ltd. is a marketing agency incorporated in Singapore under UEN 202431987W, with its studio at 9 Battery Road, #12-01 Straits Trading Building, Singapore 049910. We are the organisation responsible for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us by telephone at +65 6428 9153 or by email at [email protected]. For any privacy-specific matter, please use the Data Protection Officer contact in section 9.
2. The personal data we collect
We aim to collect only the personal data we reasonably need. Depending on how you interact with us, this may include:
- Contact and enquiry data — your name, email address, company name, telephone number (if you provide it) and the content of any message you send us through the contact form or by email.
- Client engagement data — information exchanged during a marketing engagement, such as billing contacts, campaign briefs and access details you choose to share so we can perform the services.
- Technical and usage data — information collected automatically when you visit the website, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed and referring source, gathered through cookies and similar technologies (see section 10 and our Cookie Policy).
- Marketing preferences — your choices about whether and how you wish to hear from us.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data, and we ask that you do not submit such information through our forms unless it is necessary and you have chosen to provide it.
3. Purposes for which we use personal data
We use personal data for purposes that a reasonable person would consider appropriate in the circumstances, including:
- responding to your enquiries and communicating with you about a potential or existing engagement;
- providing, managing and improving our marketing services, including strategy, campaigns, search, content and analytics work;
- administering contracts, invoicing and record-keeping;
- operating, securing and improving this website and understanding how it is used;
- sending service updates and, where you have consented, occasional marketing communications about our work; and
- complying with applicable laws, regulations and lawful requests by public authorities.
4. Consent and the bases for collection
We collect, use or disclose personal data where you have given consent, where consent is deemed under the PDPA (for example, when you voluntarily provide data for an obvious purpose), or where collection, use or disclosure without consent is permitted or required by law. When you submit our contact form, we ask for your explicit consent through a checkbox that is not pre-ticked. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting our Data Protection Officer; we will inform you of the likely consequences of withdrawal, and we will cease the relevant processing unless we are legally required or permitted to continue.
5. Disclosure to third parties
We do not sell personal data. We may disclose personal data to trusted service providers who process it on our behalf and under contract — for example, hosting providers, email and communication tools, and analytics platforms — strictly for the purposes described in this policy. Where we engage such providers, we require appropriate protection consistent with the PDPA. We may also disclose personal data where required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, safety and property of EngageNexus, our clients or others.
6. Transfers outside Singapore
Some of our service providers may store or process data outside Singapore. Where personal data is transferred abroad, we take reasonable steps to ensure that it receives a standard of protection comparable to that under the PDPA, including through contractual commitments with those providers.
7. Retention of personal data
We retain personal data only for as long as it is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required for legal, accounting or reporting obligations. Enquiry data that does not lead to an engagement is generally retained for up to 24 months and then deleted or anonymised. Client engagement records are retained for the duration of the engagement and for a reasonable period afterwards in line with statutory and contractual requirements. When personal data is no longer required, we will securely dispose of or anonymise it.
8. Your rights: access and correction
Under the PDPA you have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you and information about how it has been used or disclosed, and to request correction of any error or omission. To make an access or correction request, please contact our Data Protection Officer using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before responding and may charge a reasonable fee for an access request as permitted under the PDPA. We will respond within a reasonable time and, if we are unable to respond within 30 days, we will inform you of the time by which we will respond.
9. Data Protection Officer (DPO)
We have appointed a Data Protection Officer who is responsible for overseeing our compliance with the PDPA. You may contact the DPO with any question, request or complaint about how we handle personal data:
- Data Protection Officer, EngageNexus Pte. Ltd.
- Email: [email protected]
- Post: 9 Battery Road, #12-01 Straits Trading Building, Singapore 049910
- Telephone: +65 6428 9153
10. Cookies and similar technologies
This website uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember your consent choices, understand traffic and improve our marketing. You can manage your preferences through the cookie banner and through your browser settings. Your consent choice is stored for approximately six months. For a full description of the categories, durations and vendors, please read our Cookie Policy.
11. Security
We make reasonable security arrangements to protect personal data in our possession or control against unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal or similar risks. These include access controls, encryption in transit where appropriate, and limiting access to personnel who need it. We review our practices periodically and require the service providers we work with to maintain comparable safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security; if a data breach affecting your personal data occurs and the law requires it, we will notify the relevant parties and the Personal Data Protection Commission in accordance with the PDPA.
11a. How we collect personal data
We collect personal data in three main ways: directly from you, when you complete a form, email us, or communicate during an engagement; automatically, through cookies and server logs when you use the website; and, occasionally, from third parties such as business contacts or publicly available professional sources where it is relevant to a potential engagement and lawful to do so. We only collect data for purposes a reasonable person would consider appropriate, and we do not use it to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.
11b. Children's data
Our services and this website are directed at businesses and professionals, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact our Data Protection Officer and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
12. Do-Not-Call (DNC) provisions
We respect the Do-Not-Call (DNC) provisions of the PDPA. We will not send you specified marketing messages to your Singapore telephone number unless you have provided clear and unambiguous consent, or as otherwise permitted by law. You may opt out of marketing messages at any time, and we will act on your request promptly.
13. Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC)
If you believe we have not handled your personal data in accordance with the PDPA and we have been unable to resolve your concern directly, you may lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC) of Singapore, the regulator responsible for administering and enforcing the PDPA. We would, however, appreciate the opportunity to address your concern first.
14. Third-party links
Our website may contain links to third-party sites. This policy does not apply to those sites, and we are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy notices of any site you visit.
15. Changes to this policy (change-log)
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or the law. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes may be highlighted more prominently. We encourage you to review this page periodically. The current version was last updated on 1 July 2026.
16. Contact us
For any question about this Privacy Policy or our handling of personal data, please contact our Data Protection Officer at [email protected] or by post at 9 Battery Road, #12-01 Straits Trading Building, Singapore 049910.
